This camp will rely heavily on volunteers. If you are interested in helping with this camp, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteers will consist of PBBC staff, Board members, and Pedro Bay community. All volunteers are subject to background checks.

Meal times will be conducted at the school and subsistence practice will take place at the old church property. We’ll also spend time at the sandy beach, hiking, and berry picking, depending on the weather! Attendees will be provided with a packing list to ensure they have the proper gear.

Travel Scholarships

PBBC will be awarding travel scholarships to interested participants. We have limited funding, so we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible with expressed interest in the scholarship. Priority will be given to older students who wish to participate and those who haven’t yet attended culture camp. The scholarship covers airfare from Anchorage to Pedro Bay, departing the 4th and returning the 9th, unless otherwise arranged. Housing and all meals for the recipient will be provided. Participants will be housed at the school, unless other arrangements are made for them to stay with family.
